Looking for information on David Ardis born circa 1806 Edgefield Co. SC died 1872 Marietta, GA. He was the a son of Abraham Ardis of SC he married Eliza Gray about 1827.She was the daughter of John Jameson Gray. They had the following known children: (1) Anna Eliza Ardis born circa 1833 married John Gedding Hardy Cobb Co. GA. (2) John Jameson Gray Ardis born circa 1838 died at Point Lookout P.O.W. Camp during Civil War (3) Payton L. Ardis born circa 1840 died circa 1903 (4) David E. Ardis born circa 1843 (5) James H. Ardis born circa 1832.
