Searching for information on the descendants of Mathias Ardis (son of Abraham Ardis) and Louisa Nail/Nail who migrated from Edgefield Co. SC to the Bienville Parish area of Louisiana circa 1845. Known children include(1) Lucious Ardis brn. circa 1827 SC (2) Susan Rebecca Ardis brn. 1823 SC married James C. Egan (3) Sarah Louisa Ardis brn. circa 1830 SC (4) Casper Nall Ardis brn. 1833 SC who married Martha Levy (5) Hannah H. Ardis brn. circa 1835 SC (6) John B. Ardis brn. 1840 SC (7) Ann M. Ardis brn. 1836 SC (8) Jennie Ardis brn. 1852 married J.P. Thurmond . Most of the people listed above are buried at Mt. Lebanon Cem. in Bienville Parish LA.
