Eliza Ardis (1800-1837) was the daughter of Abram Ardis & Susannah Shinholster. After Susannah died, Abram married Sarah Rose Mary Zubly. If you would like information on Abram's family, please email me at smason3@houston.rr.com
Eliza married John Milledge Galphin (1794-1857)on 12 Sep 1819. I believe that this John Milledge Galphin was the son of Thomas Galphin II (May 1793) & Sarah Smith. His aunt Martha married John Milledge, who was a Governor.
After Eliza died, I have that John married Ann Harrington Swan. Some of the following comes off the internet and I do not have the documentation I would like for some members of this family. It is my working outline and I always welcome corrections and additions:
