ARDEN HISTORY ENGLAND MIDDLE AGES ON

Does anyone have any history of the Arden or de Arden family in England? I have an ancestral file of Ardens going back to the 1100's with marriages into some prominent families. I have done quite a bit of reading into English history and not found much of anything, other than a mention in some material about the Domesday book to the Arden family retaining lands under the Normans. Then, there is the Arden Forest. Is this connected to the family? My family is connected to the Ardens through their marriages to the Webbs and the Shakespeares. I also don't know anything about modern day Ardens in England. Are they still a prominent or landholding family? If anyone has any information or suggestions on where to look, I would appreciate it. I have posted on the Warwickshire list, but have gotten information on the Shakespeare connection only. Thanks.
