We seem to have a link. My tree (well my grandson's) comes from Walter James Arden, son of John Arden and Rachel Little.
Love to hear more about your tree. All I know about John is that his father was john (from Marriage cert) I think he may be on the 1851 census as a visitor in Liverpool - his place of birth is given as Woosley which I believe is a spelling mistake.
In 1841 the only possible John I can find is living in Bolton with his parents John and Isabel.
