Russ,
I admit my deficiencies and apologise.
I'll try to be less locquacious. I have a family tree with several branches not directly related to the 1st generation person.
In the Report format those branches do not appear in the list of generations. THey are excluded.
I would like to view them as part of the whole.
You directed me to the Extended chart.
All branches appear alongside the main tree.
Success.
For convenience of viewing it would be advantageous to see what I see in Chart format (all the side branches) in a Report format - a complete family tree.
That really is the nub of my question and if the answer is "No" the subject is closed, and you will have my thanks for the patience you have shown,
Alistair
