Mary,

You can NOT "transfer" the program from one computer to another. You need to Install the program on the new computer.

You CAN get your Family File from one computer to another. I suggest using the File, Back Up command and File, Restore from Back Up on the new computer.

As for Version 2010, you can install it on both computers as well. It WILL recognize the Version 16 Family File and open it, creating a Version 2010 version of that file.
