And I'm not suggesting that they are blocking all Comcast IP's. Most ISP's have a blacklist where they block groups of IP addresses that have caused problems in the past - denial of service attacks, spam, etc. Sometimes, those groups of IP addresses include IP's of legitimate users; in other cases, IP addresses are incorrectly put on the list. It has happened to my business and it required contact with both the web hosting company and their internet transport provider to remove the list of blocked IP's from their blacklist.

I've now tried the family finder search on 3 different PC's in two different networks. I'm certainly open to any other suggestions you have. On the original knowledge base article, there was a reference to a registry edit file, but none was attached. Is there a way I could get that and try it?
