Russ- I haven't run a family finder report since 2007 so a lot has changed on my PC. But I have no other problems besides this one.

I have not installed any Comcast software and my router was purchased at Best Buy and is not provided by Comcast. I have no firewall.

I loaded FTM on my PC at work and created a brand new file. It still didn't work and gave me the same message - "the internet site that Family Tree Maker needs to connect to is not available at this moment."

My home and work setups are in different cities and obviously have entirely unrelated network infrastructure. The only thing they have in common is that they both use Comcast as their internet service provider.

I really think FTM's website hosting company is intentionally or unintentionally blocking some Comcast IP addresses. I have seen this happen in other circumstances. Is there someone who can check this?

Thank you.

Rusty
