Re: Old FTM CD's

I need some advice. I have a friend who accumulated numerous FTM CD's for many years. Recently, she has had some bad things happen in her life-husband died, she had a heart attack and finances bad, etc. She started cleaning out her house and shipped me a great big box of FTM CD's for which I paid the postage. I see dates such as 1998 and also found a self extracting copy of FTM version 4. I am using FTM version 16 and so far I have not found a way to open these discs. Does anyone have any ideas, I really did not need them as I can get what I want via Ancestry or Genealogy but wanted to help her out. She lives in a different state and is really depressed. Any advice. There must be about 50 plus discs and she says she has 3 more racks of them.
