Archy Nationality - Surname Origins?

Does anyone know the national origin of the ARCHY surname? Is it English, Scottish, Irish???

My ARCHY family lived in Centre Co., PA in the 1800's and moved to Iowa after the Civil War. The name was changed to ARCHER after the War.
