I have just been looking at the messages and I have been working on my husbands' family of Archers.I started with James Archer in Macon, GA. and his wife, Mariah (Maria) Norris.Their daughter, Mariah Christina Archer married in Macon, Charles Florella Cook. They had several childen in macon before packing up and moving. Some of the Archer family may have come with them.Anyway, Charles and Marie (as she was called) stopped in Geneva county, ala. long enough to have Albert Lavoyah Cook and as soon as they were able moved on to Washington County, florida.they had planned to go to Mississippi but entered Washington County during a hurricane and a homesteader gave them shelter and they traded their horse and wagon for his homestead and stayed.I have a picture of this couple. From this couple my husband came from Lavoyah and Loubealia Dauphin Cook."Bud" and "Bealia" named all their children names with the letter "L". Charles and Mariah are buried in Washington County, Florida.
