I have recently been given this information from another generous researcher.
Amable Archambault and Zoe Vandandaique dit Gadebois; lived in St Antoine de Chambly when their son Anthime (Alex?) Jean Amable was born 12 April 1843.
Son Anthime was ordained a priest in Montreal 9 August 1868 at Nativite d'Hochelaga in Montreal.
From 1868 to 1880 Father Archambault was a missionary priest in the Diocese of Boise. Father returned to Montreal because of poor health. He died January 25, 1911.
Amable son of Joseph Marie and Monique Durocher and Zoe Gadebois daughter of Oliver and Marie Marcil married 26 June 1838 in Beloeil, QC.
Another son Louis Joseph Hermenegilde married Marie Hermine Duhamel daughter Pierre and Marie Adeline Archambeault 26 Sept. 1876 in St Roch de Richelieu, QC.
If anyone has additional information about the part of the Archambault would you please add to the above.
I live in Idaho, USA and have for a number of years been trying to find the parents of Father Alex Archambault. With this information hopefully more family members can be found.
