Yes, my wife and I(McAllen) are both Arce's. I've yet to find a link between our ancestors.
Her father, Jeronimo Arce married Isaura Lopez. Their children are Jeronimo (Houston), Efrain (Pharr), Maria Isaura Yolanda(Pharr) and Jose Ricardo(Houston)...and of course my wife Diana
Jeronimo's parents were Pantaleon Arce and Estefana Garcia. Jeronimo's siblings are Jose Lubin(Chicago), Domingo (Mission, Tx.), and Conrada (San Antonio).
Pantaleon's parents were Jeronimo Arce and Ana Maria Hinojosa. Pantaleons siblings were Simona, Isabel, Petra, San Juanita, Nemesia, Refugio, Cleofoso and Jesus.
Jeronimo's parents were Jose Faustino Arce and Maria Isabel Ramos. Jeronimo's Siblings was Pedro Arce.
Jose Faustino's parents were Pedro Jose Arce and Maria de la Luz Garcia.
Pedro Jose's parents were Domingo Antonio Arce and Maria Rita Perez. His sister was Maria Antonia.
Domingo Antonio Arce's parents were Pedro Arce and Geronima de Pelo.
My side of Arce's is limited. I only know that my Grandfather was named Julian Arce married to Maria Luisa Ramirez. His father was Aniceto Arce married to Fernanda Devora. My mother's name is Ernestina and her siblings were Petra, Aniceto, Juliana, Fernanda, San Juana and Vicenta.
I have to say that 3 generations of my wife's ancestors were discovered in only the past few days thanks to the postings and subsequent communications with the very nice and generous lady, Antonia Phipps and her Cerralvo Arce's.
If Zaragoza Arce and my father in law, and you are related, Antonia will most probably fit in the equation.
