Hello Claude!

Could not remember if I replied directly or not to your message! Short memory ;-)

I am so glad to connect with another cousin online! Being a military family
abroad (we currently live in Okinawa, Japan) we have little by way of resources to continue our search of our family trees!

I remember my great grandmother Marie(Mary as she was called) from when I
was little. All I remember was that she was short (I was almost her height
at age 6-8, of course, I am now 5'10''), her hair was pretty white, she had
brown spots all over and she got nose bleeds alot.

She and Great Grandpa James lived next door to my grandparents, Viola
(Bezio) & Norman John Francis. I know that she was committed to the mental
health facility in Waterbury, VT and remained there until her death. My
aunt tells me that it is believed that she suffered from what we now
recognize as Altzheimer's Disease.

That is really all I know of this part of my family history. I have only one
picture (not a very good one) of Marie and James taken in 1962 at a wedding
shower for my parents and a picture of their headstones in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colchester, VT. Having lost all my grandparents ( 3 have passed on,
and Viola is in a facility suffering from advanced Altzheimer's Disease), I
have no way of finding out about this part of my legacy. Therefore, I would
welcome ANY information or photos that you would care to share with me. I am always eager to help others too!

I hope to hear from you again soon!
