Hi! Just saw the Arrant-Arant-Ardnt posting you made. I am descended from Johann Hermann Ardnt and his wife Ana Margarete through Jacob. Much of my Arant stuff does seem to be in conflict. Appreciate any info to straighten it out. This is the earliest info I have:

Hermann Ardnt with his family arrived in Philadelphia in 1733 on the ship "Hope" with sons Peter, Michael, Jacob and Anna Maria and Peter's wife Katrina

In 1751 another son, Heinrich advertised in a Philadelphia German newpaper for his family

Immigrant's given name(s): Johann Hermann
Ship name: Hope of London
U.S. arrival date: 28 Aug 1733
