Researching parents, grandparents, ggrandparents of my ggg grandfather Reddick Knox Arrant, b. 1811 Lincoln Co. Ga, d. 1864 Woodville, Tyler Co. Texas. Attempting to verify his father: Peter Arrant, b. Rowan Co., NC, d. 1845 Clark, MS & his wife Milly, b. Rowan, NC, d. 1839, Clark, MS. I have Peter's father to be Conrod Arrant d. 1785 Kershaw, SC, Conrod's spouse as Elizabeth, their children: Peter, William, Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah, Rebecca.
Conrod's parents questionable: Peter Arrand and his wife Catherine or Katrina.
As I have reviewed most online trees, I have found many things that do not correlate with U.S. census. Looking for information on the above and how it is verified (documents, etc.) so that I may seek out those sources also. Thanks! Please email.
