Does anyone have any information about the ancestors of Henry Littington Arant? According to 1900 AL. census data, he was born in 12/1865 in Macon County, AL. His mother was Elizabeth M., b.1834 in Georgia and living with him at the time of the census. Also, his two children from his first marriage to (Julia Bartee?): A. Hosea (Hozier)b. March,1889 in Pineywoods, Talapoosa cnty; Daveville, AL.
2 marriages: 1. Vida Hightower
2. Leona Dean Williamson
(my grandmother)
B. Lona Arant Raley b. 5/29/1988 d.11/11/52
Also living with Henry L. at the time was his second wife Georgia Elizabeth (Rush?) and their children Virgil b.1896 and Maxie b.1898
Henry Littington Arant had a brother and sister:
Thomas F. b.4/19/1860 d.8/20/1918 m.Ophelia V, son Curtis
Loutetia b.4/19/1862 d. 6/27/36 m. Robert Pinkney Davidson
Any help anyone can give me I would greatly appreciate as I have hit the ole' Brick Wall.
