Nancy is my great grandmother and was born in 1851 in the Roxanna Community, Churchill Rd., Tallapoosa County, Alabama. She married Joel Bennie Columbus Small in 1868 in Tallapoosa Co. and they later moved to Liberty City Community west of Notasulga. Some of her relatives are buried at Pentecost Meth. on Churchill Rd., Tallapoosa Co. above Reeltown. Some of her siblings are Will(William J.), Jim, Frances Melvina Laney, "Aunt Matt", and a sister who married a Baker. Will had a son, Douglas Arant, who was a partner with Bradley, Arant, Rose and White (law firm) in B'ham., Ala. I found a marker at Pentecost with Lindsay and Elizabeth Arant's names and one with Richard that had been broken and hard to read.
