In doing my research into the Antley/Dantzler lines, I have run across a Barbara Ellender Arant (b. 1827). She was the second wife of Allen Dantzler (b. 1821 in SC and d. 1885 in Lowndes, AL). They had no children from what I can tell.
This ties a little with what you have posted but I have no other information re: Barbara Ellender Arant.
One of Allen Dantzler's children, Allen Felix Dantzler, (b. 1840 in Orangeburg, SC, d. in Morehouse Parish, LA) m. Johannah Melissa Arant (b. 9/6/1842 in Lowndes, AL and d. 1/24/1883 in Morehouse Parish, LA).
They had four children, all of whom stayed in LA.
I also have a record of Susannah Felkel (b. 5/1/1806) m. Michael Arant. She was born in SC but I have no other information about her. Her mother was a Dantzler in SC.
I hope this helps at least a little bit to establish your link to SC.
