***Ann Alexander in this census record was the eldest child of John B. Webb and Sarah F. Croft Webb, who moved from Attala Co., MS., to Yell Co., AR, by the census of 1870. Jasper Alexander had come to Yell County to work. He and Ann or Annie married and returned to Sevier Co. The family later removed to Oklahoma.

Ann was the sister of my grandfather John Pinckney Webb, born just after the Civil War in Attala Co., MS.

Annie was old enough to remember her father, J.B. Webb, joining the Confederate Army.

Ann's sisters married Biggs, Walker, and Brunson in Yell Co. She had brothers named James Warren, John P., and Charlie.
