There are some maps on it. Remember, Woodruff was Jackson county until 1862. There was a town named Morton on a map on the east side of the county. I am not sure if that is spelled right or not.
If you are looking for Martins, there was a Rufus W. Martin who had 2 Land Patents. Feb 15, 1884 - Twp 7N, Range 2W, Section 15, 40 acres and May 8, 1888 - Twp 7N, Range 2W, Section 6, 73.390 acres.
The one in Section 15 would be around where the town of Deview was located.
I am still looking for info on William P. White and his wife Harriet J. Filgo White. He died ca 1862. He had land around Deview near a David White. The land in Section 15 is the next section north of mine who was in Section 22.
