Looking for family of James M. Bumgarner b. ca 1837 GA & d. 20 Nov 1875 Woodruff Co Ar. His wife Martha was b. ca 1838 GA & died Woodruff Co AR after 1870 census. Two daughters Margaret J. & Emma B. were left to the care of grandparents Joab & Elleanor Bumgarner of Sharp Co AR & are on 1880 Sharp Co AR census. James brother William & his wife Caroline also died after 1870-1875 in Woodruff co. Their son's Joseph & Henry,William J were left in care of same grandparents. Also left in their care were the children of daughter Elisha Taylor who was in Gordon Co GA in 1870. Her 3 daughters were Alice, Laura, Savana. In this short time Joab now 66 & wife 60 have 7 children under their care with ages ranging from 14 to 1. Margaret [James oldest] married Jan 30 1879 to Joseph Franklin VanMeter. Would like to know what happened to take both brothers & their wives in such a short time. Also where are they buried. Any and all help is welcome.
