Edria,
John L. West was living in Letona,(White county)AR at that time!! He married Mary C. Kelley in 1858 and they had six children: James C.West 1850-1930,John A.West 1869-1949,Emma J.West 1873-?,Thomas L.West 1879-1897,Miles W.West 1870-?.
John L.West married again in 1908 to Mary C. Perkins and there were no children to this marriage. I hope this helps you in some way!! good luck!!
