Hi Sara, I am also looking for information on a Morris in White County, Arkansas. My great great grandfather was James Barnes Morris born about 1821 possibly in Alabama. He was in White County, Arkansas in 1860. His son, William J. Morris , born about 1845, joined the Civil War from Arkansas. I believe he joined the Union but possibly first was in a Confederate unit. I am looking for anything on James B. Morris's parents or siblings. Any help appreciated.
