Giles and H.C. Baker 1800s
Posted by: ginny brandt (ID *****8679) Date: April 06, 2005 at 14:42:20

I am trying to find information on two different
Baker families: Giles Baker and
H.C. Baker. They are found on the 1850 census in
DesArc Township. They were both born in TN.
I think they may be related to Elizabeth Wallace,
widow, who is found living close to them. My ancestor,
Elizabeth Wallace was supposed to have been a Baker
before her marriage to ? Wallace.
I am trying to find out where in TN these Bakers
came from. Do these names ring any bells?

ANY help appreciated
Ginny
