Mrs. Walter S. Wright Obituary 1920
The following obituary appeared in the 26 Mar 1920 issue of the Lauderdale County, TN Enterprise. This was from the Mississippi Enterprise, Wiggins. (this is not my line, posted for the benefit of Wright researchers)
On the afternoon of Wednesday, March 3rd, 1920, the soul of Mrs. Mary K. Wright began its journey to heaven. Thus ended the earthly life of a good woman. Mrs. Wright, the wife of the late Walter S. Wright who preceded her to the grave less than two months ago, was born in Searcy, Ark., June 14, 1869, and lived there until her marriage on May 5th, 1896, when she moved to Mack, Tenn., the beginning of her wedded life. In December 1908, this good woman came to Wiggins and located. Soon they were recognized because of their sterling characters, typically Southern in every respect ... Mrs. Wright was a member of the M. E. church, South ... She is survived by her three children, T. Bennett Wright of Jackson, Miss.; Margaret Ann and Walter Wright who were living with her only sister, Mrs. V. Campbell of Bond; and three half brothers, Mr. H. M. Stone of Memphis, Tenn.; Messrs. W. M. and Allen Watkins of Searcy, Ark.
