Hello. I am trying to locate the civil war records of a group of Morris brothers; the sons of Patrick Henry Morris and Sarah Ann Summers. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated....

Washington Floyd Morris, b. 1825 VA; living in Kanawha county, VA at the time of the war. Confederate.

Patrick Henry Morris, Jr., b. 1826 VA; living in White County, AR. Confederate.

Madison Monroe Morris, b. 1828 VA; possibly living in AR or TX?? note: this is from one of his descendendts, "During the late war Mr. [Madison M.] Morris was boss workman of a Texas Brigade shop, in Texas Brigade, Col. Taylor's regiment." note: we don't know what war this is referring to.

Thomas Jefferson Morris, b. 1830 VA; living in White County, AR

William H. Morris, b. 1833 VA; living in White County, AR

Ferdinand Francis Morris, b. 1834 VA; living in Kanawha or Putnam County, VA

George Lewis Morris, b. 1840 VA; living in VA or AR at the time of the war.

I descend from Washington Floyd Morris and his first wife, Elizabeth Canterbury.

Thanks for reading,
Sara in WV
