Eliza GRIGORY m David WALKER, later m Richard LENTZ

I am searching for information about my maternal great-great grandmother and her two husbands. Here's what I know for certain (and what I know for maybe!):

Her first married name was Eliza (Ann) WALKER. (Online sources give her maiden name as GRIGORY.)

Her daughter, Bertha Dora WALKER, who was my great-grandmother, was born in 1878. Source: My mother, based on personal knowledge, and written information she found in her mother's things after she passed away, including a note in her own handwriting that said "My great-grandmother Eliza Lentz, born 03/19/1853, died 12/3/1922." (I've got information to the effect that Eliza's youngest son, David Herbert WALKER, was born in 1889. I also show that she had a son, James Axley WALKER, born in 1886 -- he ties back in below.)

Based on my great-grandmother's maiden name, Eliza's first husband was WALKER; the 1880 Census gives his name as David WALKER (and I've found an online source that gives his name as David Peter WALKER). Her second husband was a Mr. LENTZ. My mother's cousin wrote to me that her grandmother, my great-grandmother, adored her step-father, to the point of not wanting him to be called a step-father at all. I have a photograph of him, marked simply "Grand-Dad Lentz".

In the 1920 Census, Arkansas, White County, Liberty Township, sheet 10B, I found Richard B. LENTZ, wife Eliza A., and adopted son Joe WHITE. Eliza is shown to be 65 in the census, which would put her birth in 1855. That makes her about the right age to be my Eliza Ann.

In the 1900 Census, Arkansas, Jackson County, Glaize Township, page 4A, I found Richard B. LENTZ (the indexer shows it as LANTZ), wife Eliza, daughter ?ona (b. Aug 1881), son Richard (16 years old -- can't read the birth year on the census), son or maybe stepson (it's smudged) Axley WALKER (b. 1886), son James LENTZ (b. Oct. 1891 or 1892 -- hard to read), and a boarder whose name I can't read at all. Finding Axley WALKER in this census is my strongest evidence that this is the correct Eliza LENTZ. Also, Eliza's age is given as 47, which would make her birth year 1853. Again, that fits the information I had previously.

The 1900 Census indicates that Richard and Eliza had been married for eight years, which would put their wedding around 1892. It also indicates that Eliza had had six children, three of whom were still living. The information I have on Eliza (GRIGORY) and David WALKER is that they had six children, and I have marriage information on only three of them -- my great-grandmother Bertha, her sister Roselia, and her brother James Axley.

Based on when Eliza's youngest son, David Herbert WALKER, was born, and when she apparently married Richard LENTZ, it would appear that David (Peter) WALKER died between 1889 and 1892, but I have not been able to pin down anything more specific on him.

If anyone can help me fill in some of the blanks here I would appreciate it. I'm looking for:
- specific birth and death dates and locations for David (Peter) WALKER, and
- specific marriage date and location for Eliza WALKER and Richard LENTZ.

I would also welcome any other information or leads on this family, such as names of parents and siblings.

Thanks!
Lori
