Searching for information on ENOCH J. EDWARDS and family. He is my great-great grandfather. The only information I have on him is that he joined Company A, 36th Regiment Arkansas Infantry in June, 1862 in Searcy,AR. He fought in the Civil War until 1864. He was wounded at the battle of Helena, AR on July 4, 1863. He was born Jan. 10, 1844 and died Oct. 2, 1909. His wife was Mary E.(maiden name -unknown) born March 2, 1842 and died Feb. 5, 1909.

Their son, my grandfather was Amica Edwards, born June ll, 1880 and died Aug. 13, 19l3. There is a newphew by the name of E.L. Skidmore, who would probably be Amica's sister's son. According to Mr. Skidmore, Enoch would have had siblings and possibly children in Beebe "where they lived out their lives".

I have no other names than those above. Any Edwards descendents from Amica would have lived in Paris, Texas (Lamar County).
