You can go here
http://www.rootsweb.com/~arwhite/
and do a search. It has some cemetery listings for White County.

I have a grand-aunt Penelope ARMSTRONG, who was born in (probably) White Co., AR. Her parents, M.C. ARMSTRONG and Rachel Caroline ANDERSON, married there.

She married an unknown WATKINS (possibly James WATKINS) in probably Logan Co., AR, after her mother and step-father moved there from White County, about 1879.

Penelope lost some of her mental capabilites and her husband, Unknown WATKINS, left her and went to OK, we believe.

1900 Logan Co., AR Census:
122 122 EMBERSON, Rachel....Head..Jun 1836.63..Wd.__.6.4.TN TN TN Farmer
........, Albert W. Son...Feb 1878.22..S.........AR TN TN Farm Lbr.
WATKINS, Penelope..Dau...Mar 1861.39..Wd.__.2.2.AR VA TN House Kpr
......., William...G Son.Sep 1886.13..S.........AR TN TN Farm Lbr.
The "No. Years Married" column was blank for Rachel and Penelope.
Rachel is mother of 6, 4 living. Penelope is mother of 2, 2 living.

Any possible connection with your WATKINS family?
Donald Ray West
