Grocery and Ragsdale
Posted by: Fred Ragsdale (ID *****0769) Date: March 10, 2005 at 01:45:56

Howdy all!

My g-grandfather was D.A. Ragsdale, who married Lydia Ellen Hopkins, both b. in TN and married in 1867 in AR. I found something a few years ago (and have lost it in my paper monster) that indicated he was a grocer in Washington Co.

In the late 1880s, he and the family moved to Waco, Mclennan Co. TX, where he bought a grocery and one son, John W. ran the grocery after his dad's death.

My query involves trying to find information of any sort that would relate to the grocery in AR....where, when, etc.

Thanks for any help.

Fred
