PHEBE (JAMES) SCOTT -b. 24 Dec 1833 IN -d. 3 Mar 1886 AR
Looking for the grave site of my 2nd gr grandmother, Phebe James SCOTT. She had lived in Ozark and Douglas Co, MO until after her husband died in 1884, Rev Flemmon Scott. Phebe was probably living with her son, Greenup Scott, near Fayetteville.
Phebe's grave has been visited in the past by relatives who said it was located somewhere east of Fayetteville. There was apparently a marker then, but I don't know what year that was.
Hoping someone familiar with that area might remember seeing such a cemetery or her headstone...if it's still there. Perhaps her name is still listed in the cemetery books. I can't find her online.
