CARMACKS IN WASHINGTON CO. BY 1900
Posted by: Lois Carmack (ID *****0956) Date: July 16, 2004 at 22:27:00

Hello everyone;

I am seeking information on the CARMACK family or families that may have lived in Washington CO., AR before or by 1900.

Could someone do a look-up in the 1900 & 1910 censuses for any Carmack families for Washington Co., AR? Is there an 1890 tax list used for a 1890 census substitute for Washington Co., AR that can be searched?

Is there any tax records for the Carmacks? Any other records for the Carmacks?

The BLMO Patent Land Records has a John Carmack owning land in Washington Co., in 1900 (I believe). I believe I read some papers that a Bury Carmack was also there. If so, I'd like to compile info to prove or dis-prove if these are my husbands ancestors.

Please help. I appreciate any help or suggestions sent.

Email is loiscarmack@myvcs.net

Thanks, Lois Carmack
