Rockport, Indiana--Jan. 4th 1845 Probate Record book shows Garrett Grass appointed guardian of Daniel G Springston, Eleanor, and Sarah Ann Springston ,infant heirs of Abraham Springston--this will was contested and at least 4 hearings on record--my interest here is the fact Garrett Grass appointed guardian as have thought after being born in Spencer County Indiana and going to Arkansas Garrett never returned to Indiana----the Grass line is my line-other mystery to me is the name Daniel G Springston--The G stands for Grass ? My gggg grandfather was Judge Daniel Grass and one of first settlers in Spencer County Indiana---surnames researching---WRIGHT--SMOTHERS--SMITHERS--SNYDER--BROWN-- Thanks ahead for any help on this ---DIck Cooper
