Seeking information on family (parents, siblings, etc.) of JAMES KINCHELOE McPHERSON, b. 18 Aug, 1850, MS, REBECCA ANN (GOODIN) MCPHERSON, b. MO.
James K.'s father was JOHN McPHERSON, b. TN???, mother ???? CINDAN, b. TN. Rebecca's parents were both born in TN.
They are shown living in Vineyard, Washington Co., AR, in the 1880 AR Census. They have 3 children at that time, Ida Mcpherson, b. 1877 TX, Erna McPherson, b. 1878 AR. Emily J. McPherson, b. 1880 AR.
(Not show on the 1880 AR Census were Earney G., b. ca 1878 AR and Coke b. Aug 1884 AR.)
James and Rebecca moved from AR to Indian Terr. OK, and had the following children: Nora, b. 1890 I.T., OK, Virgil, b. 1892, I.T., OK, Oliver L., b. 1893, I.T., OK and Everett A., b. 1895.
Rebecca died either in the birth of Everett, or shortly thereafter.
James K. second married VIRGINIA HANCOCK POCKRUS, 2 Jun 1898, Tecumseh, OK. They had the following children:
Unknown, b.and d. 1898, I.T., OK, Barton, b. Sep 1899, I.T., OK, Gertrude, b. 1902, I.T., OK, Frances, b. 1904,
and Virginia Monroe, b. 1906.
Virginia also died in childbirth or shortly thereafter.
James married the third time to MINNIE CARTWRIGHT, aft 1910, and they had the following children: Jimmie Fay, b. 1912 OK, Gladys Marie, b. 1915/17 OK, Lawrence and Florence (Twins) b. 1918 OK, and Clarence, b. 24 Jan 1920 OK.
