Hi Carol,
I have John T. Johnson born in Tennessee and died Dec.25, 1861 in Arkansas. He married Nancy Whitely. They had children, but I focus on their son Isaac Johnson born March 8, 1822 in Tennessee and died Sept.08,1865 in Grove Spring, Missouri. He married Susannah Todd.
Isaac and Susannah had children, but I focus on a son named William Owen Johnson - Known fondly as "Bill-O". He was born on June 15,1844, Barry County, Missouri. He died May 11,1924 in Washington County, Arkansas. He married Margaret Jane Davis.
"Bill-O" and Margaret Jane had children, but I focus on a son named Solomon Isaiah (Zay) Johnson, b. Oct 27 1868 in Missouri. He died Dec. 05, 1955 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was married Laura Cunningham and they had four sons and one daughter. All of them are now deceased.
Of course many of the relatives are still living in Fayetteville, Washington Co., AR. My frustration however is not finding the background of Margaret Jane Davis. If anyone has information on her it would be most appreciated. Thank you much! William Owen Johnson photo can be seen at website:
