My ancestor, Rev. Gamaliel Bryant/Briant, was a preacher at the Friendship Baptist Church in Springdale, AR. He died there in 1895 and it seems likely he knew your ancestor. It is my understanding that this church still stands. You may wish to contact the church directly and also the local historical society has been very helpful to me in my research. Good Luck!
