for 1870, only similar name is Mariah Reeves, age. 13. For 1860, found David Reece, age 30, from NC, with wife Mary 30 from AL and kids Thomas 8 of TN, Elizabeth 6 of TN, Jmames 5 of AR, Ann 4 of AR, Harriet AR and Nancy AR. I found what appears to be the same family in 1880 as Resvis. David, 52, of NC (also both parents from NC) with wife Mary 52, James H. 24,Leintha 21, Mary A. 18, Martha 16, Margaret H. 13, and John 11, all kids born in Arkansas. These are transcribed books, so the various spellings may be various misreadings -- or maybe your ancestor is kin to the famous bushwhacker Reves and wanted to keep people from knowing! ;-)
