James G.Craig and America Spears were my grt grt grandparents.I would like to exchange Craig family history with anyone who has any pertinent info.James' parents were from Tn.
They were said to possess Cherokee blood.His father was said to be 1/2 Cherokee and his mother full blooded Cherokee.James died in Washington Co. in 1859. His son John W.was also born and died in Washington Co.in 1850 and 1930 respectively.
