I have information on and am related to Buchanan and Cox, but not the Gray family (in Washington County, AR). However, I do have a connection with Gray in Johnson County, AR. And, I have several relatives who also saw action at Pea Ridge.

Burwell Cox is the son of my ggg-grandparents Coleman Cox and Martha "Patsy" Buchanan, and the brother of my gg-grandfather Anderson Cox. Burwell Cox, Anderson Cox, and two other brothers were all ministers of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Sarah Hannah "Sally" Buchanan is related to my ggg-grandmother "Patsy" Buchanan.

I have visited the Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery where Burwell and Sarah Hannah are interred at Fannin County, TX. I made photos of the state historical marker and of several of the grave markers. The three daughters of Thomas Gray came to Fannin County, TX, with their mother and Burwell Cox. However, I do not know the married names of those daughters and do not know if they are buried at the Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery.

I will write to you direct to give you more of the information that I have collected.
