Billie; This reply isn't about the sheriffs
of Washington County ARK., but it is about my Carter Family that lived in Summers, ARK
within this time frame 1850-1900. Their names were William & wife Anna Carter. They were my ggrandparents. I cannot find out anything about this family.
Are you familiar with Summers? Is there a
cemetery there? My Grandmothers name was
Matilda Carter.There were other children too. I think one was named Lester and one
named Dicie? Does any of this sound familiar
