I am interested in information on several Routh/Ruth families that arrived in Washington County from Tennessee about 1839. Joseph Routh, Benjamin Routh, and others. Later Jacob Routh and brother-in-law T.J. Gillihan were in Washington County, before and during the Civil War. Also, in County records in 1841, Benjamin was guardian of Jacob and John Routh, sons of the deceased Jacob Routh. Also especially interested in any siblings of John and Jacob who may also have been appointed to a guardian, especially Susan Routh (Gillihan), Francis Routh, and William Routh.
