Thomas family of Cane Hill

I've hit a wall, I know that a large family of Thomas' moved to Washington Co during the 1860's from Cooper Co., MO. Adam Thomas with wife Harriet P. had the following adult children listed in the 1870 census:
George J., Lafayette J., Thomas M., William J., Charles B., and Harriet A. The oldest daughter married F. M. Kidd in whose home Adam was listed in the 1880 census. What happened to the rest of them? Where are they buried. I'll be up that way in a week or so, any ideas of where to look?? Any help would be appreciated.
