EDMONDS/TITTLE 1860 (also Barry Co, MO/Lawrence Co, MO)
Looking for any info on this family.
1860 U.S. Census, Cove Creek Twp., Washington Co., AR, 7 Jun 1860.
Calvin Edmonds, 29, male, farmer, TN
Lucinda (TITTLE) Edmonds, 21, female, -, OH
William Edmonds, 5, male, -, TN
((Notes: (1) The relationship of William Edmonds is unknown but he could be a son from a previous marriage or other family member. However, it is not believed this child came from the union of Calvin and Lucinda. (2) Calvin's given age is in error. All future census reports show he is 20 years older than Lucinda. (3) In this census, Calvin and Lucinda are living next door to John and Mary Tittle.))
I'm looking for the C C EDMONDS listed below accused of robbery in 1864 in Lawrence Co.
Also looking for his assumed sister-in-law Ruth (Ruthie) TITTLE <1840-?> and unknown relation Sarah Ann TITTLE.
Apparently he didn't go to prison. He enrolled in Company K, 7 Oct 1864, Mt. Vernon, Lawrence County,MO.Maybe he was given the option of joining up or going to the pen.
If this is Calvin C. EDMONDS (1823-<1908>) we know he married Lucinda TITTLE in 1859 in Barry Co, MO.
He is also known to have lived in Barry Co., MO in 1870, and through 1900 census in Wright Co., MO.
