Laroe residence, taxes, pay bills, etc Washington Co., AR 1930's

Interested in any documentation of any kind reference James William Laroe and family of Prairie Twp, Washington Co., AR (Fayetteville). He was a stone mason and best known for small sub-contracting to build churches, court houses and hospitals. Could have possibly had a small part in building at the VA Medical Center in 1933/34. Would like helpful tips on where to look for any good documentation and records on residence, etc.

Thanks,

Betty
