I have for many years been BWed on a Smith line...Easy to imagine that..Huh...Well while I'm waiting for a breakthrough and having run back my collaterals as far as I can and two more maternal line BWs, I like to use what skills I have aquired to help others in their 'lost causes'...I've had some successes...My own Safford line as an example...CW had it that they were Scot-Irish...With that mindset ppl had searched for thirty years with limited success....I was able to trade info with a dear cousin who had info from a posthumous source who had personally given her a gedcom back to Swaffer Quakers imprisoned in England.....These lines are 'hidden' for a reason and we do not know the reason...In your case it may have been the fact that Robert H. had been married so many times...In my case there was a double marriage of otherwise unrelated stepchildren...Once I got past that the line just fell into place...The searchers had been in shock at the discovery and gone to a state of denial...After posting this one cousin e-mailed me a note of thanks cause for all these years she had thought that she was her own grandma...I once had a case that involved several marriages and numerous children, Darthula Evans....She would marry and have a couple of children and then the man would be out of her life and she would show with another and some more kids by him...The key to sorting them all out was that after each marriage she would go back to ma and pa for a time....Turns out she wasn't in my Evans line but after all that work I shared with a query on her so as not to lose my labor and also to be helpful to a fellow pilgrim...If I were you I would go to < > put Albert A. Parks in the box and wade throught the 150 or so posted gedcoms...Somewhere in there lies a clue ....Some where in my recent postings on the Melungeon forum there's a compendium of census sites...You might look there....later.
