Cockerhams of Cornie -Union Co. Ar
Looking for info on the family of Henry J. Cockerham (Cockram, Cockrum, Cockraham{var. Sp.}) and Mary Robinson (sp.), John David Cockerham and Caroline Parker(sp. may vary) from mid to late 1840's to mid and late 1860's. They were found in and around Cornie during this time. John David stated he joined the Army at Three Creeks Post Office in 1864. ( Gen. Parson's 10th Mo. Inf. Reg.) Henry J. served in the 37th Ark. Inf. Reg., and died at Camp Hope in '61 or '62. It is believed that Henry J. was the son of David and Jane D. Cockerham, originally of S.C. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Jim
