Looking for the graves of my gg grandparents, Allen Martin and Ellen McLemore Martin - location near Huttig, Lapile or Strong, Ark.
Allen was killed by another man in probably the 1870's in Huttig over a horse. By 1880 census his wife "Ellen" (Elenor McLemore) Martin is listed as head of household. She died sometime after 1883, which a land record is the last I can find for her. They were living at the time in the Lapile/Huttig area.
Their daughter Elizabeth married John Henry Knox in about 1870.
Any help is greatly apprecitated.
