Annie Z. [CHAMPENOIS] is shown with her mother on the census below - her mother's maiden name was Zelem or Zalen [CAMPBELL]. Annie and her mother are living with my G-Uncle in 1930 but my family has no record of this marriage whatsoever.
He was my mother's favorite uncle and she was living with his parents in Houston 1930, and I am positive she would have known about this marriage and Annie as the Seber's were a very close-knit family.
I honestly believe the marriage is a census taker error and that Zelem/Zalen was probably a boarder or a house keeper.

Zelem/Zalen married Cecil Calvert CHAMPENOIS 1923 in Union Co, Arkansas and they had 2 children:
Cecil Jr who died 03 Feb 1924 in Union Co AR
Ann born 13 May 1925 in Union Co AR (this is her SSDI)
Zelem/Zalen & Cecil divorced in Harris Co TX before his 2nd marriage 17 Mar 1928.
ANY information you can share about Zelem/Zalen, her parents, and/or siblings would be deeply appreciated so I can try to solve this family mystery.
